Statement
It
is difficult to successfully treat the many pain disorders that
we diagnose. It is nearly impossible if we don't spend the time
to know and understand our patients. Dr. Roth has been treating
facial pain patients for over 25 years.
Dr.
Roth has completed advanced training in the management and diagnosis
of orofacial pain and temporomandibular joint disorders at the University
of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a diplomat of the
American Board of Orofacial Pain and has served as a member of it's
Examination Council. He has also been awarded a Fellowship in the
Academy of General Dentistry. Being a member in the National Headache
Foundation and American Academy of Orofacial Pain (AAOP),
he maintains his knowledge in his chosen area.
The
quotation at the top of this page sits over the desk in his office.
To complete a differential diagnosis and determine the course of
treatment, a thorough medical history and comprehensive physical
examination are essential. Dr. Roth schedules at least one hour
of his time for your initial visit as one of our pain patients,
plus extra time with our staff. In addition to the diagnosis it
is important that you understand the treatment and prognosis. We
also provide ample time to have all of your questions answered.
Successful treatment must be an ongoing partnership between doctor
and patient.
NOTE: Dr. Roth is a general dentist.
Diplomate status of the American Board of Orofacial Pain is not a
recognized dental specialty. |
